Just in case you missed it, Power Poppy took center stage over at the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog with their Card Cafe Thursday! And today, there's another surprise! Head on over to their blog HERE to the and see how YOU could win a $25 gift certificate to the Power Poppy Shop!
I chose to play with some pretty geraniums from our set Geraniums Take Two. I thought I’d do them in traditional RED colours for fun; and to pair them with some country feeling gingham paper to really show them off.
If you ever have paper that doesn’t quite match your colouring you can always colour it with your Copics too. The greens in the leaves of the flowered paper were really more lime than green, I just took a G20 marker and evened them out a little bit.
I did some varigated colouring on the leaves and added a little tag in the ribbons.
Here’s the inside stamped in Memento Lady Bug ink.
Copics used: R24, R27, R29, R39, G20, G40, G43, G46, G28)
Have a happy Friday peeking at all the fabulous creativity from the Bloom Brigade playing along today!

Oh goodness Christine -- there's so much I love about this card! From the bold pops of color with the mix of decorative papers that you used to the fabulous coloring job -- it's a beauty!!!
How clever are you to color the leaves. I really like this set paired with the gingham paper. This card is one of my favorites from you. Great job.
Oh, Christine, this is gorgeous!! First, your coloring is gorgeous! I LOVE these geraniums! And I love the color combination with the gingham (who does NOT love gingham?) and the black with the DP! Beautiful card!! Love the inspiration, sweet friend! Hugs!
Absolute gorgeousness! How beautiful the second image is on the inside, too. Love this, Christine!
I always love your coloring, but this has to be one of my faves Christine!! I tried, and tried to get my leaves to look like the ones you have...but to no avail. You make it all look so easy when it is anything but!!
so pretty, love the elegant, country feel to this!
Gorgeous!! Fabulously coloured geraniums and love the touch of gingham and black lace.
Beautiful! I love that gingham paper and it pairs beautifully with your gorgeously colored flowers!
