Birdie Blue

Over at A Day for Daisies there’s a new challenge,  Monochrome that I thought would be fun to play in.  There’s even a free digi to be able to play along with, which is what I used.  So I did some tone on tone colouring of the blooms and birdie adding some pretty paper flowers with faceted gems as centers and then some wound seam binding to tie them all together.  I tried to give the birdie a feathered look with my copic strokes.

I wrote the sentiment out with a Copic multiliner and added some pleated seambinding under the main image to keep it cohesive.

All those blues are sure soothing aren’t they?

This is beautiful, Christine! It's so pretty, in fact, I hardly notice it's a monotone. Love the blues. Your handwriting is impeccable, too. I could NOT do that!

Ahh yes, the blues are soothing. I guess that's why it's my fav color group. Your ribbon-ing is awesome! I also love that you hand wrote your sentiment. Totally precious!
