Beauty Captured - Five

How about a little touch of Spring for you today?  It will remind us all that indeed Spring is coming again!

A friend gave me a spring planter of bulbs to say thank you for loaning her some stamps,  and it’s gorgeous.  Little did she know that spring flowers are amoung my favourites because it’s the promise of new life, with such beautiful colour.

This is how the arrangment looked the first day...daffodils blooming now, primrose (I believe), tulips coming hyacinth coming and grapevine hyacinth I think too.  A very backlit photo against the window, but I love how fragile it makes the daffodils look.

Ah daffodils.  Such a cheerful flower, so full of new life.

This is how the grapvine hyacinth (I think that’s the little ones coming) looked the first day, and the larger hyacinth and tulip beginning the first day.

And just yesterday the hyacinth is starting to bloom and the tulips are starting! Each day is like a little surprise.  I love it!

Primrose, they’re so pretty and vibrant and have such great texture on the leaves.

And gorgeous varigated orange tulips.  One of my all time favourite flowers!

Oh my... how beautiful! The flowers are lovely, but your photography has really captured nature blooming herself... love how they are just peeking up and showing their pretty little faces. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing...

Try planting the primroses outside after they finish blooming and look kinda dead. They should grow after a while and bloom again. We live in Northern Wisconsin and mine bloom outside right after the snow melts. They multiply, too. I bought mine years ago when the store marked them down to .50 each! I love the spring dish gardens like yours. I'm envious. Enjoy your beautiful plants.
