January New Release - Under the Big Top!

Welcome to Day Two of our January New Releases at Flourishes!  Today’s set, Under the Big Top is fun and full of fancy!  In this great set you’ll find  our own company of trained animals, clowns and other circus elements to give you a wonderful performance for your next celebration.  This silhouette-style set illustrated by Lauren Pope measure 4 x 6 inches and includes 9 whimsical circus images and 3 sentiments for occasions far and wide.

I think the set is adorable for both kids and adults alike!

I first began by stamping the cute balancing elephant from the Under the Big Top set onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock with a fun rosy-red colour and trimmed him out with a little bit of a white border.  I also stamped the balloons separately in three colours cutting out the different balloons so I could put them on different layers.  Then I stamped the ticket image onto Flourishes Classic Kraft Cardstock and began layering onto a Color Made Easy - Terra Cotta Perfectly Pierced Victorian Oval Die shape.  The adorable designer paper is Teresa Collins - You are My Happy, and it’s the perfect match!  I love that it’s a little bit girly and has that matching cute factor.  

Cute accents include Enamel Dots, Baker’s Twine, Kraft Seambinding, and a punched scalloped border to match the dots in the dp.  So fun to play with!
