Spring Chick

Welcome to day 2 of Flourishes Sneaks for February! We hope you enjoyed yesterday's sneak of some gorgeous florals -- Old Fashioned Florals! It might be the day of LOVE (Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!) but today's sneak is all about sending off sweet Easter Wishes. This new set features classic imagery and religious sentiments perfect for the season!

Introducing...

EasterWishesGraphic

Three lovely vignettes designed to usher in beautiful well wishes for a blessed Easter.

I LOOOOVE this set :)  Everything about it makes me smile.  The images are fabulous, and so perfect for Easter - a season that is precious to me.  I think this little spring chick is absolutely adorable.  And once again I marvel at Marcella Hawley's talent :)  Thanks once again Marcy!

I stamped the newly- hatched chick from Easter Wishes in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Flourishes Classic White, colouring it up with Copic Markers, adding some pointillism for the background, and the chick to give it that fluffy feel.  I really love the softness it adds.  I cut out the image with Spellbinders Hexagon dies because they matched the hexagons in the DP so perfectly (MME - Follow Your Heart).  Then you can see a little Sunflower - seam binding bow, twine and button from the Sunflower and Emerald Coast lines, as well as cardstock from the Emerald Coast line.

Like seriously, how precious right?  I stamped part of the sentiment onto a Kraft fishtale banner I cut.  Inside is the entire sentiment.
