Ever Present Help - Giveaway Week Day 4

Alright gang, we're at Day 4 of my Giveaway Week.  I'll be short on words today...great 1st day of school for the kids, I'm very grateful for that!  Bummer was that today we were surprised with an unexpected repair on the van...to the tune of $300 - $400.  Not the best month for unexpected expenses above what we've already doled out for September.  So my tank is a little low tonight, and I still have to write an article for a newsletter....

Anyway...I played along with the Mojo Sketch this week and some Verve...  keep reading the Giveaway is at the end!

I used a few Verve sets, Dream Big, Framed Wishes, and Psalm 46:1 Plain Jane.  I paired the flowers and verse with these pretty MME papers - called Moments, some pretty ribbons and some pearls.

Good, good verse to cling to on any day, but especially on a day with some challenges!

Here's the giveaway today....and remember you can still enter the SU paper Giveaway, and the Flourishes Stamp Sets Giveaway.

Ranger Distress ink in Walnut Stain
Prima Felt Accents
Flower Soft in Spring
and Prima Pebbles, I used one pebble, but the other 7 are yours :)

Leave a comment telling me what's a good encouragment to you when you've had a bad day....

One comment per person please

I'll draw for a winner Friday about 10 PM and post then.  You'll have 48 hours to contact me with your snail mail address.

This is FABULOUS!! Love how you used the Mojo sketch and showed off some Verve :)

Hearing I love you from my kids and hubby comes home with a Venti Decaf Nonfat Latte :) Alone time with my nose in a book or a good work out helps too.

love the blues of this card and what a fab sentiment. The words "Thank You" and a smile pick me up when I am having a bad day- not enough people show appreciation or encourage others

I've used that sketch this week as well. Beautiful job you've done with it. I just love Mojo Monday! I needed to hear that verse today too! Thanks for that reassurance. I'll pray for provision for your van repairs too.

Bless your heart! I'm so sorry that you've had a rough day. One of my favorite verses when I'm low is... "When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I". I can't always see God's plan, but I know that I'm standing firm upon Jesus, my Rock, and that I'll understand in time. Which makes me able to say -"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him!"

I pray you'll be encouraged in the Lord and have a blessed day today!

Found you on SCS yesterday....AND I HAVE TO follow your blog now! :)
What is an encouragement to me? Reading the Word is an encouragement when I feel I'm a little down or depressed! Music is also a GREAT tool to lift me up! Not just ANY music, but Christian music!
Your card is FABULOUS!!!!!!!!! :) SO PERFECT in every way!!!!!!!!! (Yep, knew there was a reason to follow your blog! :) )

Love your card, the sentiment and the colors you used.
When I have a bad day, and I have had quite a few lately, a nap and hubby bringing home or making supper really perks me up! Knowing I am in the prayers of others helps the most!

I'm sorry to hear about your unexpected repair bill. I pray that your article writing went well though.
This is a beautiful card and truly a wonderful verse to cling to. I love all the blues and the papers. Fun use of these Verve flowers too. Of course I always love to see pearls on cards.
Time for stitching or making cards or reading (refueling) help me after a bad day. Having my husband listen and encourage always helps too.

Your card is wonderful and full of sweet detail. I hope reading these comments from your friends help you have a better day. When my day is going not so good I stop and say a little prayer and like magic it works and then I can sit and do my card making.

When I've had a bad day I cherish the time in putting my son to bed. He still likes to rock with me and have me stay in his room while he falls asleep. It's quiet and I usually read a good book and just treasure the time of peace and quiet. I usually even stay in his room after he falls asleep to extend that time a bit longer.

Love the blue colors. A very cheery card with all the flowers. So pretty.
I always do some crafting, that way your mind is on something else instead of worrying about your troubles.

Beautiful card! I love hearing, "Don't worry, I'm here with you" when I'm feeling stressed or afraid. Sometimes I only hear it in my heart in God's voice, sometimes I hear it from a family member. It's always comforting.

This too shall pass and then the sun will shine.
