Welcome to today's Noon-Time Challenge! Today it's all about the Year of the Dragon 2012 and this awesome image. Use it as your inspiration to create something wonderful, enter your link on the Flourishes Blog on today's challenge post and you could be chosen as a winner!
One of my loves (still) that I don't do often enough is watercoloring. I embossed this gorgeous heart in white onto some watercolor paper and pulled out my watercoloring pencils and gave the heart some vibrant oranges, pinks and reds. It has a really cool effect around the swirls of the heart. I also embossed on the background paper (Garden Girl Cardstock) layer with the smaller scroll image. This paper has fabulous rich colors for Valentine's and also goes with the original Garden Girl pack from Bo Bunny.
Isn't that ribbon gorgeous? It's Fleurs Chiffon Leberty. Under the ribbon I've added a double layer "topper" style to the card using the Fleur De Lis Squares Spellbinders.
