Now I know that when you see this beautiful image of pears you're all going to do a little cheer! :) I've been hoping for pears for a long time from Flourishes, and this one will meet up to all your expectations. You might be expecting something in traditional pear-like colors right? Well, not this one :) I colored up these pear blossoms in more like - prickly pear colors because I wanted to use this pretty paper from MME A Beautiful Life.
I've gone for a sort of vintage, feminine romantic feel with the layers of scallop ruffles (Creative Book Pages and my Grand Calibur), and I've framed out the pear blossoms with the Eyelet Circle Nestabilities die weaving some pretty narrow velvet ribbon through some of the holes. And I also fed the velver ribbon through this gorgeous crochet ribbon to accent the ruffles.
I've embossed and distressed the background layer with the new Pear and Vine Embossing Folder
And another look at the pretty ruffles. :)
