Glittery Birthday Stripes

How about something pretty and green for a spring Birthday today?

This is a card I haven't shown yet from this March release at Flourishes.  The Strips and Stripes set is really fun, so many possibilities of how you can use just this set alone, plus pair it with the Birthday Pennants set  (and dies now in the store!).  I really tried to go with a stripedy theme adding the embossed stripes on different shades of green, and then between each row, adding Scor Tape with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for a sparkly row.

Then I created a frame with my Spellbinders Labels Thirteen Die, and the Birthday inset with the die too, all in my Grand Calibur Machine.  This way more of the pretty stripes show through.  Simple but still eye catching and effective :)

I'll be back Friday with the Flourishes Pre-Release Challenge.  It's a fun one and new releases for April start next week!

Thanks for stopping by friends!

Stamps:  Flourishes - Strips and Stripes, Birthday Pennants;  Ink:  White Craft Ink;  Paper:  Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke, Garden Green, Pear Pizzazz;  Accessories:  Spellbinders Grand Calibur Die Cutting Machine, Spellbinders Labels Thirteen Nestabilities;  White Embossing Powder, Scor Tape, Satin Finish Cotton Ribbon - Avacado, Kaiser Pearls, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
