Journey in a Jar PTI Hop

Hey there friends!

Today I wanted to jump in on PTI's monthly blog hop because the theme is "challenging yourself to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that might be collecting a little dust!"  Well, that one appealed to me because I haven't had any time to use my PTI stamps....and this one particular stamp In hadn't even inked yet!

I call it "Journey in a Jar" combining the very sweet Friendship Jar set and Up, Up and Away... it has a sort of fairy tale dream feel don't you think?  I little vacation in a jar idea which in the middle of all this snow sounds wonderful!  :)

Coloring is done with Copic markers, adding the partial clouds template side the lines of the jar....and then at the bottom for a sentiment.

Now...I'd like to introduce to you someone new and beautiful....

It's our new nephew.  Born just 1 day ago and we met him Monday afternoon.  He is absolutely gorgeous, perfect round little head, beautiful soft inquisitive eyes, a button nose, chubby cheeks, soft fuzzy hair....oh I could go on and on.  He's beautiful.  And I can't wait to hold him again tomorrow!  I am so overcome with that sense of wonder in his little life!  Grateful to God for his safe arrival and his presence in our family, so happy for my brother and sister-in-law and niece (now a big sister!).  Sigh!

Thanks for dropping by!

Stamps:  PaperTrey Ink - Friendship Jar, Up, Up and Away;  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black;  Paper:  Baja Blue, Marigold Morning, Flourishes Classic White, Webster's Pages - Waiting for Santa and Sweet Season;  Accessories:  Grand Circles Nestabilities, Copic Markers, Clouds 1 & 2 Template, Large Scallop Punch, Baja Breeze Striped Ribbon, Vanilla Seam Binding, Cording, Copic Markers, Dimensionals.
