Nook and Pantry Christmas

Today is another wonderful Flourishes Friday, and I'm in a Christmas kind of mood :)

So, I pulled out my Basic Grey Nook and Pantry stitched brads, these are gorgeous fancy brads that coordinate with the Nook and Pantry papers (still also in the store).  Now....because I'm getting into Christmas mode, I thought I'd challenge myself to use Nook and Pantry (which has more of a country feel), to make a Christmas card....think I can do it?

So I matched up these pretty papers with this gorgeous Seasonal Wreaths set, still one of my favourites...I colored the wreath with Copics (I'll list the colors at the end), and then used my lovely new Spellbinders shapes to make the most of the paper (Labels 16 and Labels 14) as well as MFT's Perfect Bracket edge on the top awning.  You wouldn't normally think of these colors for Christmas...especially with the yellow, but the red and green really helps it out.

Now here's a look at the beautiful fancy brad which really accents the piece, and this amazing new velvet ribbon....

And here's a closer picture of the coloring....

I added a yellow glow around the wreath to give it a better match to the papers and warm it up.  The sentiment is from the retired Angelic set.

Well, do you think it works for Christmas?

Head on over to visit the Design Team for all their creativity today....
