Some Color For You

I have a really neat challenge for you today!  The Color Throwdown is celebrating it's 100th Color Challenge and there are tons of companies sponsoring the challenge this week, so there is the potential for prizes for all of you!  Flourishes is donating prizes and is one of the participants too.  Some of our Flourishes girls are participating later today too....  Danielle Kennedy, Julie Koerber, Stacy Morgan

So today I put together these great colors for a Flourishes card to show you with a nice and clean design.

I've inked up the Spring Ephermals set with a Regal Rose and Certainly Celery marker.  Then after stamping I used the fine point end of the marker to bring definition to the image, and also added Real Red into the shadows or depths of the flower petals.   This pretty sketch is from this weeks Mojo 146 Sketch.  I've added some pretty embossing and rows of ruffled ribbon behind the horizontal rows.

Now you can join us too!  Go here to get all of the details on the challenge and a list of all the prizes you can win! Color Throwdown Blog

AND for your shopping pleasure...Flourishes is having a 12 Days of Christmas sale at the store.  Christmas sets are on sale for 25 % off (already discounted in the store).  How fun!

Stamps:  Flourishes - Spring Ephemerals, Tag Lines;  Ink:  Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Real Red, Baja Breeze;  Paper:  Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Real Red;  Accessories:  Big Shot, CB Folder, Celery Satin Ribbon, Deckled Ovals Nestabilities, Mega Scalloped Ovals Nestabilities, Square Nestabilities, Kaiser Pearls, Dimensionals, Sticky Strip, SW Markers.
