Love Notes - Lunchbox Style

Oh I've missed my Flourishes Fridays!  But we're back and ready for a New Year with you!  Today it's a fun Friday - because it's a Pre-Release Challenge, next week Wednesday through Friday is our January Release, and it's a sweet one filled with lots of love!

This challenge is all about feeling the love in our card making! The kind of project, color and feel is all up to you, just make sure that whatever type of card you make -- it's perfect for the season of LOVE!  You'll want to join in because if you do, you have a chance to win the whole NEW Release next week!  See the Flourishes Newsletter for details!

I've been wanting to make some Lunchbox Notes for my children for a long time.  I think it's so important for kids to hear a word of encouragement, what they're doing well at, a praise for a job well done, a little word of kindness and affection and a little note in the lunch is a sweet way to send a little love at lunchtime.

Now I know that my boys at least may love the note, but then just deposit it in the trash after lunch (I think my daughter might put them in her locker though :)  )....so I didn't want to make them too extravagent, but just a sweet little 3 x 3 note.  I've taken various Flourishes sets and watercolored the smaller images to make something sweet.

This little bee has glitter on it's wings and some fun honeycomb shapes

This little hopper shows you his jumping with some piercing and faux stitching.

These orange slices have a drop of glitter.

And this little strawberry has some lovely Flourishes mirrored paper to frame the image.

You'll hopefully see some more of these Love Notes, lunchbox style from me over the next months.  It's one of my goals for the year ahead :)

Now, head on over to these wonderful Flourishes Girls for their LOVE inspired creations today:
