The Friends of Flourishes have issued us a Sketch Challenge, and I combined the brand new Musical Score background set, with the beautiful Angel from the Rejoice set. I love that the background is the music and words to the Christmas Carol - "Angels We have Heard on High", so I thought they were a perfect match.
I used different combinations of purple to make this card look very regal, along with a very collage style of layering of the elements.
The octagonal nestie shape is sponged with White Craft ink using the Impressabilties Flourishes template. It gives it a lovely soft almost bleached look. I've also cut this layer along the bottom with the Lattice Borderabilties template, sponged and gave it pearl accents.
The white layer of the musical score is sponged, and then I added the embossed Angel that had been stamped on cardstock vellum and colored from behind (stained glass window style), with Copic Markers, and then over top with Spica atyou pens, to give it pretty sparkle.
There are so many wonderful things for you to see between the FOF Blog Team, the DT and the other wonderful new set ....
