My First PTI Blog Hop!

I have long admired the classy nature to PaperTrey Ink's stamps, and now I finally have some of my own! So, it's my first opportunity to participate in the Blog Hop. This time around Nichole challenge us to put on our fall sweaters and create something with the theme of Autumn, colors, textures, patterns or motifs.

When I think of autumn I think of the depth of color, so warm rich greens and golds and deep blue skies that have a new crispness in the air. For us in Canada Thanksgiving comes in October, so I always think of it as a season of Thankfullness too. Fall always gives me that feeling of a fresh start and gratitude for all we have.

I've colored these pretty flowers from Friends Till The End with Prismacolor Pencils trimming and layering them. On Kraft I stamped the leaves in some fall colors as well as the deep blue and gave it some good sponging. I created a background for the main card with a few of the sentiments and lots of sponging for depth.

A simple sentiment treatment with the scalloped square punch, some twine and brads in the opposite corner for balance.
