A Honey of a Day

Oh...spring is coming to my place! Yesterday was a balmy 14 degrees Celcius ...probably about 58 degrees Farenheit...the snow is melting...it sure puts you in a happy mood doesn't it? The promise of spring is so beautiful each year.


Today's color challenge at SCS is a great early spring one...Bashful Blue, So Saffron and Close to Cocoa...I dug out some really old designer paper and went to town with my little honey stamps....





Don't little bees speak spring to you?


I watercolored the flowers on WC paper, sponged the edges really well and then also watercolored the honey pot and bees, cut them out and popped them up.

I was working on another card...but I think it just isn't happenin' today! The creative juices stopped flowing! Sometimes it's better to stop while you're ahead! Have a wonderful day today friends!

    Isn't the weather BEAUTIFUL?! It's been so nice to open a window and get some fresh air! Not to mention all the melting...yippee!
