O Hoppy Day

We’re back for day 2 of Natural Wonders Sneak Peeks at Power Poppy!  Today it’s all about the more masculine version of natural wonders with O Hoppy Day!  This set focuses on hops and barley plants and what you put them together for, beer!  Now I’m not really much of a beer person, but I really love the way these plants look together.  Marcy was so creative too in adding bottle caps and other fun elements that you can use, beer lover or not!

I think this arrangement is so rich and rustic feeling.  That spray is just awesome!  I coloured it up with Copics, die cut it and sponged the edges to really give it more warmth.  I coloured a few extra elements from the set and added them to the sentiment to balance the layout and accent it.  To accent I’ve used an embossed layer, and twine that I braided to make it a bit thicker running on the vertical.

That warm and charming feel is so perfect for any guy in your life.  There’s lots more in store this week, so stop by again tomorrow for some more fall fun!

Oh my Christine, very rustic indeed! Love how you coloured this in greens and yellows, and warmly sponged around the edges. The embossed background and twine really adds to your finished card. A fabulous masculine card indeed. TFS!
