Pop Goes The World!

We have a fun and fabulous challenge this week at Power Poppy that will take you away to exotic places!  How about these gorgeous colours from the Mediterranean seaside?  That looks inviting doesn’t it?   All you need to do is pick three colours from the selection and do some Power Poppy Creating.

I pulled out the turquoise, yellow and green in the image (and then just touches of the red in the berries) with the beautiful new Sunny Harvest set to make some late summer sunshine.  I love this quote in the set (and I SO agree with it!)... I just had to make the “glow” shine on the colouring too.

The papers are some older ones I had in my stash and when I pulled them out and saw the sunflowers - I knew this would be the direction I’d go with this card.  I added some Spellbinders Fancy Label dies under the sides and sentiment and some enamel dots, twine and sewing .

We hope you can join in on the’s the official rules!

THE CHALLENGE: Be inspired by the beauty of this photo and use at least three out of the four colors we've highlighted. Choose from shades of turquoise or yellow or red or a little bit of grassy green in your creation! Simply use a Power Poppy stamp set, these colors and link up your creation to be in the running!

  • Using the Linky over on the Power Poppy Blog and link up to the exact post featuring your card
  • Use one of Power Poppy's images -- any one will do!
  • Be sure to list the Power Poppy Challenge in your post or gallery write up
  • If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, be sure to use the keyword PPWORLD2
  • Entries will be accepted up until August 31st at 5PM EST.
  • Winners will be announced Friday, September 5th and the person chosen wins a Power Poppy stamp set of choice!
And now you can head on over to the Bloom Brigade playing along this week!
