Welcome to Day 2 of our fabulous September release week! Today both of our Friends of Flourishes Team and our Senior Design Team will be showcasing a wonderful new stamp set created by our beloved artist Marcella Hawley. Marcella has packed this beautiful 4x6 stamp set called "Holiday Topiaries" with an array of beautiful holiday decorated greenery and 3 seasonal sentiments to match their holiday vibe. This sweet holiday stamp set will surely make an appearance on your homemade cards, handmade gifts, tags and more this season!
The Timeless Tuesday Challenge this week is... "Make a Good Impression" - Incorporate dry embossing somewhere on your card or project. It could be an embossing folder, stencils, or even a household item for your embossing....just make sure you "Make a Good Impression"! (FTTC237)
I decided to take the beautiful embossing theme to heart and did both dry embossing and heat embossing on this pretty CAS design. I think texture on a clean design really helps add interest. I began by using the Silhouette cut-file that will be available for this set and cutting the shape out (love my Silhouette and cut files!), stamping the partridge topiary from the set with VersaMark ink onto Flourishes Classic Ivory, embossed it in gold and then popping it up on our Flourishes Perfectly Pierced Victorian Ovals die.
It's finished with some embossing (Spellbinders Holiday Magic), sparkly gold sequins, some pretty gold cording in a bow and a Spellbinders ornament die for the sentiment. Elegant and also really simple too. Hope you enjoyed the peek!
Now... don't forget...
