In Nature

Welcome to Day Two of Flourishes June Releases!  We're thrilled to show off more nature-inspired offerings for you today. One of the things that makes summer so special are those tranquil moments spent in the outdoors.  Think of those peaceful places of recreation or solitude away from the hectic schedule, celebrating the beauty and restoring power that nature has.  Today we bring you...

InNatureGraphic

You can feel the solitude in this beautiful and earthy set penned by Lauren Pope. Whether it's catching the great outdoors by canoe, or sitting by the lake front cabin, this set delivers a serene dose of nature. This 4 by 6" set offers two main images plus three beautifully scripted sentiments. Images are great for nature lovers or even for the men in your life!

I love the warmth and inviting nature of this set....it really does carry that peaceful and serene quality.  Places you'd want to be this summer.  I stamped the cabin scene from In Nature set onto Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then cut it with this diamond shape Spellbinders die, I thought it fit the shape of the illustration well.  The colouring is with Copics with a little pointillism on the trees to mimic leaves.  I added some masculine feeling photo corners from Scrapbook Adhesives to accent the design and used last month's 123 Create Kit called Prairie Chic for the designer papers.  I thought the barn-board paper and green gingham was a great match.  The card is 5 x 5 in size.

I've added few details that aren't too fussy to really accent that masculine feel, some lime green braided trim, Chevron Striped Twill in Celery, a Color Made Easy Button and some Jute Twine.   The sentiment is stamped on our Flourishes Classic Keyhole Die and sponged to better match the background paper.

We'll have some more beautiful creations to show you with the In Nature set, so take a trip on over to visit the Design Team today to see them, and don’t forget about today’s…
