A Zoo-per Day

I realized as I was going through all my cards that I am lacking in boy cards.  With two sons that are often last minute-ing me "Mom I need a birthday card....", I see that I have to beef up my boy-stash a little.  How about this cute one with TSG goodies...



This set Zoo-Pendous is SO fun and whimsical.  It works perfect for boy or masculine designs.  I had fun putting together a little "African Savannah scene at the Zoo" for the design.  I just received my order of new Spellbinders dies today and one of them was this A2 Curved Borders One.  I love the curvy design so I designed the card around that curved-edge as a cut out, and using the cut away part popped up for the sentiment.  The black borders are part of the TSG Challenge for this week.  I love the sharpness is gives to the design.

On the back layer of the card I added a thin embossed leafy section for fun.


Do you see the cute little puffy white clouds?  I colored them in with a Ranger Picket Fence Distress Marker.  It's SO perfect on the Kraft!  Hee hee, his bugged out eyes crack me up!
