Such a cute set today! I'm so excited to show you Stitched for You and the brand new 123 Create Kit that is really great! I've made 3 cards so far with this kit, so it was hard to decide which one to show you first! So, I ended up deciding on the stamp that focusses on sewing, because of my sweet Mom the seamstress, she has stitched up many many things with love.
I grew up around sewing material for my whole childhood, so it was fun to color up this sweet little sewing scene (and I want a pear pin cushion too!). I first cut out the image with our Flourishes Silhouette Cut Files (SO AWESOME!), then stamped the image on Flourishes Classic White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then colored it all up with Copic Markers.
The papers in this kit are so fun, so I went with that cheerful red/orange/green palette. Isn't the measuring tape ribbon wonderful? And you can also see the embroidery stamps included in the set too stamped on the Color Made Easy Poppy Paper. I also added some button die cuts as accents for the sentiment (stamped in Memento Love Letter).
And EEEE look at the scissor charm! This kit includes some adorable sewing charms that are SO cute. And just take a look at this kit below!

ReplyDeleteOh how I love this card! Reminds me of my Mom, who used to make me the prettiest dresses when I was a little girl. She's passed on now, but I still have all her old buttons and pin cushions and her very old antique measuring tape. I would so love to make this card for my Aunt, who also sews, quilts and loves material! Thanks for the beautiful card and the chance to win.
