Go Natural Challenge

Welcome to today's Noon-Time Challenge at Flourishes.  It's your chance to create, and enter to win some of this fabulous new release!  Today's Challenge:  Be inspired by nature - choose colors from a nature photo, use an earthy twine, faux snow, what about a leaf skeleton on your card? Just go natural and you'll be in the running for this one-of-a-kind challenge!

I chose the beautiful pine cone image from the new Naturally Merry Set, and then I played with my Letraset Aqua Markers on watercolor paper to really give it that rich earthy feeling.  After coloring I also sponged the main image and the Kaiser Designer Paper with some nice Tea Dyed Ranger Distress Ink and the Blending Tool.  It gave it an even deeper richness, and it's perfect with our Go Natural theme.

The ribbons are a pretty Center Band Satin, and some ruffled Satin Plisse.

So please jump in and join us on the challenge!  Create something in our Go Natural Theme and link it on this post on the Flourishes Blog.  You could be in the running for this month's sets!   For even more inspiration check out the rest of the Designers!
