Spring Challenge with TCP

The Cat’s Pajamas is kicking off a new month with a brand new challenge called Spring!

I’ve pulled out all the Spring-stops with this pretty design using TCP’s brand new die, Round Flower Duo.  It’s such a pretty showcase of spring flowers!  I like that there are a number of ways you can use this die, including two that I’ve shown here, cutting it on watercolor paper and water-coloring it with Zig Clean Color Brush markers, and also cutting the flowers in the die out to add as accents.

The blue background is created with Distress Oxide inks sponged onto watercolor paper and then spritzed with water, it’s a nice backdrop for the popped up diecut image.

The fishtail plaid paper is cut with another new TCP die, Stitched Squares and More.

I added a couple of holeless sequins, new in the store as accent.

So, we hope you join us in the Spring  Challenge, you could win a $50 Gift Code to the TCP store!  With all the beautiful new goodies we just released, now is a great time to play!  Link up at the TCP Blog HERE.

Cute, Christine! I like how you achieved a watercolor-looking background with your oxide ink and spritzing so it would make a nice background for your watercolored flower die. Pretty and springy!
