Green Veggies

In my green theme this week I thought I’d pop in with a simple little notecard design featuring some of those healthy green vegetables.  Designed with Power Poppy’s set, Farmers Market.  That cute bucket of cauliflower is a quick and easy one to colour, and I love the chalkboard sign to play with too.  This time I first coloured it up with Copics, and then embossed the white Eat your Veggies overtop, it gives it more of a chalkboard feeling.

I found a wide grossgrain ribbon I had in my stash that went well with the green theme and added some texture to the design.  A great big fat green button and twine finish it off.

Inside is a sweet sentiment from the set, perfect for a little note to tuck into someone’s lunch or briefcase.

For some reason I didn’t take a picture of the copics, but the wood crate is E42, E43, E47, BG72, The leaves are G20, G28, G29, and the cauliflower is YG00, G20, and probably some E50 or 51.
