Hi, Mr. Snowman!

Even as I’m typing this today,  the snow is gently falling outside my window.  It’s definitely a day for tucking in a being cozy.  I have a sweet little snowman to show you from Power Poppy’s new set,  Snow Kissed.  It’s such a cute combination of sweet images and Scandinavian prints you can put together to really jazz up your cards.

I wanted him to have that warm cozy feel too, so I chose some warm grays to colour him up with and then added a layer of Kraft Cardstock with the patterns stamped in white and red in the background.

I also added the prints to the sentiment banner (though the red heart is harder to see).  I snuck in a little die cut flower behind the sentiment that gives the feeling of an intricate snowflake and then finished it off with some twine and enamel dots.

The inside is stamped too, and here’s the Copics I used for colouring.

Here’s the Bloom Brigade playing along today...

Ooh, it's snowing!! Glad you for (and glad we're still warm here in South Florida...yes, we are spoiled). Christine, this is one adorable snowman, and what a sweet and darling card! I love your coloring, and the Scandinavian prints are such sweet touches. I really love the snowman, but the prints were the icing on the cake.. And I love how you've added the kraft and your beautiful layout! Sweetness and warmth!! Love it, sweet friend! Warm hugs! xoxo

This is so sweet, Christine! Popped up on my screen all colorful and cheery and gave me an instant smile. Very pretty the way you stamped the red and white on kraft. Really love that pattern with this set. Your card is just cute all over.

I bet all that snow helps to get you in the mood for Christmas cardmaking, this is just too cute, love that vintage looking snowman and putting it on the kraft cardstock was a great idea!
