Happy Birthday to Me...and You!

Well hello there, and Happy October 29th!

Since today is my Birthday, I thought we’d all celebrate together, how does that sound?  It’s always fun to have a party and gifts right?  Today I’m sharing gifts with you!  I’ve got a giveaway for some Birthday fun!

First some cute dies from The Cat’s Pajamas - Slime/Icicles, Wave, and Buttons!

Then, I’ll let the winner choose 1 stamp set from each of my favourite Stamp Companies, and I’ll have them send it to you on me!

Power Poppy  and  The Cat’s Pajamas

All you have to do is tell me in your comment “What is one way you’d like to grow in the next 12 months?"

North American residents only please, one entry per person.  I’ll leave this open for one week and then choose a winner!

Thanks for celebrating with me!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I have been dieting since August 3rd and I have lost 40 lbs. I have a lot more weight to lose (total 100 lbs). I suffer from seasonal depression on top of regular depression so I am in the process of taking my life back. By shedding the weight and taking control of my life through medication and therapy I hope to regain the confidence I once had. I know us crafters joke about stamping/card making is our therapy, in my case it is 100% true. Plus, I retire next April and I'm thinking about teaching stamping/card making that would be something new for me so there is going to be more growing or expanding my horizons. Wish me luck.

Well Christine, first of all.....HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! and thank you for celebrating with us by sharing this fantastic prices.
Well, the way I would like to grow in the next 12 months would be to learn to be a bit more patient when adversity knocks at the door. I tend to get frustrated when things wont go the way I plan them, when unexpected stuff just lands on my lap and I'm not ready for it. I like to trace a plan for everything, from making a card to preparing for a race and everything in between so, I really need to learn just adjust to changes, no matter how unexpected they might be. That would be a very helpful learning experience.
Thank you for the chance to win and again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!

Oh Wow Happy Birthday!!!! Today is my 32nd wedding anniversary too :) Great day!!
In our ladies bible study we are learning how God calls us to be his priests, and they only show his will and bring others to him, I want my life to be one that when others see me they see the love of God in me and want to know more about him through my actions and life.

Happy Birthday. 39? just kidding. Have a great day. I'd like to be able to do better at water painting and better at blending with my copic pens. Edna Burgess

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I would sing it to you but then you would delete my comment before I was done (think alley cat meowing LOL). Trusting your family and friends will make you feel special and loved today and blessings for a great year ahead :)

In the next 12 months I want to grow in my prayer life. I love to pray and intercede for others, but sadly a hectic life with kids etc. has chiseled down the amount of time spent in prayer (forgive me Lord!). After seeing the War Room, Ms. Clara has challenged to revamp my prayer life.

Happy Birthday, Christine. Thanks for a wonderful present for us. I am taking a Bible Study course and it has really opened my eyes to my need for Christian growth and life changes.

Happy Birthday Christine
Hope you had a wonderful birthday. I hope to get better in blending the copics markers. You are so good at it and hope I could do the same one day soon.

Thank you for the chance to win your generous birthday blog candy. Hope I win of course.

Happy birthday, Christine. I hope your year is extra fabulous! I hope to grow as a friend, mother, grandmother, sister and wife. I guess I'm saying that I want to grow stronger relationships. My family is so important to me and I want to help it be a stronger unit that does more good in the world.

Happy Birthday Christine! I want to grow an attitude of gratitude. I have found myself grumbling about unimportant material things and others needing my time, which takes away from what I want to do. Ugh, painful to admit and very selfish, but I have realized my time is not my own anyway and my treasures are not on this earth. I have so much to be grateful for and I need to focus and meditate on all my blessings. Thanks for the opportunity to win and your generosity. Have a blessed day!

Happy Birthday, Christine!! Your blog is one of my favorites, and I can always look forward to a display of beauty, color, and inspiration! One if the areas of growth I am working on is more discipline in Bible study and asking God to use me in my areas of giftedness. Thank you for the generous opportunity to win! Blessings on your special day and year ahead.

Happy Birthday!!
I hope to be better at my Copic coloring as well as getting stronger. It looks like I have to have another back surgery next year as two of my disc on my spine have decided to separate and I have nerve damage all up my spine. I want to be able to be a better grandmother to my two newest grandchildren as now I have to tell both of my daughter's that I can no longer hold them as it causes me to much pain and it really makes me sad and very mad that I can't.
