In Shape

We’re back to another fabulous set in The Cat’s Pajamas Sneaky Peek Week.  Today’s set just gives you the feel of those sweet days of summer.  And the sentiments are really fun.  Introducing In Shape!

I went really Clean and Simple for this design stamping Bun Bun onto Neenah White cardstock after I had cut out the shape with my Silhouette.  Colouring was super simple especially because I paper pieced the hammock.  Then I just used the Toppers CutUps Die to form the scalloped edges in the cardstock along the bottom of the design, and my scissor to make the curves.

The sentiment is just a little teaser for what’s inside the card accented with a Candi Dot.  I also popped up his little drink onto his belly rather than along the ground, I just thought it looked so cute like that.

And then the inside that just cracks me up.  I coloured up the ROUND part of the sentiment with Copics that would match the dp.  Too cute!

Here’s a look at the adorable set.   See what I mean about some really cute sentiments?

Now don’t forget, you can win today’s set, just by commenting on the design team’s blogs, the TCP Blog and our Facebook page!

Great job on your card Christine! I love how you did the inside too. I happen to think the inside is as important as the front.

Oh my goodness, what a super adorable image and card Christine, I LOL!! at that inside sentiment. I could use some of that delicious R&R this little bunny is doing, what could be better than a beautiful beach, warm sun, laying on a hammock with a yummy drink!!!
Thank you for sharing and for making me recall fabulous days like this.
Hugs.

You totally had me fooled Christine, I didn't realize you paper pieced the hammock till I read the details... you could have said you colored it that way and I would have believed you!
