Chicken In

Today we’re getting some new cutie patootie images from A Day for Daisies April Club Kit called Chickens in Aprons.  Hens and chicks....they are adorable!

Today I created a card perfect for one “chick” to another.  I coloured up my hen wanting her to have that white feather tone, with a few goldy feather accents here and there.  I paper pieced her apron with some fun polka-dot paper.  For the background layer I used my honeycomb stencil because to me it can double for chicken wire....added embossing paste and a little sponging when dry to distress it and then popped the little hen on top of her window.

The gingham ribbon and black buttons are the perfect “country” touch.

Above are the Copics I used.

‘Chick’ out the rest of the ADFD Gang playing along today....

Oh my, what an adorable image, I love the way you cut that window to show the DSP through it and your sweet little hen with her apron, matching that paper.....love every single detail of this fabulous card, thank you for sharing.

Oh, it's CAS and so sweet! I love chickens - they visit our back yard every day, twice a day for seeds. Your card reminds me how pretty each and every one are ♥
