Sending Happy Thoughts...and Candy!

On Friday I showed off a colouring tutorial I had done with this lovely new Flip Promotion set, Sending Happy Thoughts from Flourishes, and now I've finished the card to show you :)  I think these hydrangea blooms are beautifully illustrated by Sam Pickard.   FLIP is such a great program at Flourishes for discounts all year long!  You'll definitely want to check it out.

I've stamped on Flourishes Classic White, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, and trimmed the pieces out.  Then I layered them and popped them up on our Perfectly Pierced Victorian Oval, layering that onto some Color Made Easy Pistachio Cardstock cut with a Spellbinders Labels Twenty, where I had stamped another of the sentiments in the set in Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink.  That's a really great thing about polymer,  I wanted the sentiment to curve to match the die and it bends so easily, and sticks so well to my acrylic block.

The sentiment is inked in Memento Danube Blue, this blue is quite vivid and I wanted it to match the purpley blues of the hydrangeas - so I lightly added some B60 overtop of the sentiment to get the right tone.  I've added some rhinestones, seam-binding and some lovely lace as well as a Spellbinders embossing folder in the background.  It's such a lovely set!

Now how about some Candy???

I have 4 Flourishes sets from the last few months to give away to four winners!  How's that sound?

Anemones - sorry I know this graphic isn't the best, but the set is perfect :)

Just leave me a comment here, with an email I can contact you, and I'll draw 4 winners posting Monday next week :)
