Hollyhocks

One flower that you can always notice from the car on a road trip is the lovely Hollyhock.  It grows so tall, and has such distinctive blooms that I spotted it all over the midwest.  It's also my Father-in-Law's favourite flower too, so I thought I'd send a little sunshine to them with this gorgeous Hollyhock set.

Stamped on Flourishes Classic Ivory with Memento Tuxedo Black and the coloured up with Copics in the Lenten Rose CollectionPistachio Collection, and New Fields Collection.  I was really excited to get some of our new Color Made Easy Cardstock including what I've used here in Evergreen.  It's such a perfect contrast to the deep pinks of the flowers.

I addded some ribbon tabs in Cream Seam binding, Olive Buttons and some Ivory Jute twine bows.  With such a large image, it's a nice way to accent without taking anything away from the flowers.
