Photography 15 - Week 18

Spring has finally come for us :)  Sigh.  What a beautiful day today!  Robins hop-hop-hopping in the yard looking for bugs after my husband thatched the lawn, windows wide open to take in the fresh breeze, sunshine all day long.  It just brought a beautiful smile to my heart today.  After a long winter it's those small things that refresh your spirit.

My indoor tulips this past week as the pink ones opened up.  Isn't that purple contrast in the bottom of the petals awesome?

My first outdoor tulips blooms.  This shot could have been better...I was taking it with the portrait lens and the depth of field is short...a wee bit of breeze and it makes it fuzzy.   I'll try again maybe tomorrow.

ok - tried again an hour later the same tulips are starting to close for the night as the sun was setting...

And the trees finally beginning to bud.  Our sons had so much fun playing outside today, pulling out the go-cart, biking, running around the neighbourhood with friends.  A day I'm grateful for.

yea buds and flowers.... Glad the kids had fun outside. We had some 80 degrees weather ourselves today. Seems spring has skipped us or we had it for a week and now it is time for summer. ha ha
