Photography 52 - 6

So hey....hi....remember me?

The wheels sort of fell of this photography project the last few weeks didn't they?

If you've been following along you know I have a good excuse.  My husband broke his wrist, then we found out a week or so later than he needed to go into the hospital for an emergency surgery to remove his spleen....then followed numerous complications involving infections,  its been really difficult...

But I'm happy to report that finally after 19 days in the hospital he is finally home!  There's a long road to recovery ahead, but it's just so much better to have him home.

Thanks to the many of you who prayed for him.  I am so grateful.

So I didn't take one single picture while he was in the hospital.  But today I actually took two :)

My beloved.  My focus is a bit off because I really did not want to wake him.  His level of fatigue is very high.  But, you know what?  He's having a nap on our couch rather than a hospital bed, covered in one of his son's blankets.  That's a really good thing.  He's lost 18 lbs...a lot of that muscle too, so his face looks so thin.  My husband's a big guy 6 foot 3, but he looks quite thin everywhere now.  We're just so grateful though for the healing thus far, and being back together.

We've had enough snow for our little guy to dig a cave in the front yard.  Today was a perfect day to play in the snow.  He's such a happy kid.  I'm so blessed.

so glad to hear that he is finally home, pray that he continues to heal and gain his strength back. Oh I use to love going out in the yard and making tunnels through the snow and then we would make a house with chairs and everything, those were the days :)

Praise the Lord that he is home and recovering! I'll be praying for your fatigue level as well as his. You'll be a busy caretaker for the next month or so, I'm thinking!
Keep resting in the Lord!!

Blessings!
Tricia

So glad that things are finally looking up, prayers have been answered and they are still going up for continue improvement. Your son sure looks happy with all that snow, we haven't had enough to even get the brand new snowblower out. OUCH. Take care.
