3D Tags

Every year at our Staff Christmas party we have a gift exchange, sometimes it's White Elephant, but other times it's something small we buy or make.  For the past several years I've made something, and this year I decided to make some fun tags in an up-cycled chocolate container.

The tags are very cute 3D tags that I found at the Silhouette store.  Really easy to make.  I could have fussed and mussed some more to jazz them up, but I like the simple style, and tags are quickly torn off the packages, so sometimes it is nice to keep things simple.  These are the tags I'm using on all our Christmas gifts as well.

I embossed the red layer, then used a Sizzix die to cut out the letters, accenting with some buttons and wired ribbon to tie the box together.  You can see the twine I added to the package of tags so the recipient could tie them on their packages.

And here's a closer shot of the tags.  Aren't they adorable?  Our youngest loves the snowman with his arms going either way like he's doing the disco. :)

And once again your gift was the most "stolen" of the bunch! I was tempted to take it myself, but showed some restraint.

Great gift exchange present!! The tags are super cute. Love how you packaged them too. Looks like you even included some twine to attach the tags to a package. Good thinking!
