Just BEEcause

We have another great offering today in the Inside and Out Series at Flourishes, and this kicks off our November New Release Week!  I think this set Just Because is especially fun and witty in the sentiments, I can see myself using them a lot.  I just love the font on the script each time too!  I had a bit of a creative flurry with the word "because" and a few of our other Flourishes sets, Bee my Honey and the Honeycomb background set.

I stamped the "just because" in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Flourishes Ivory cardstock that had been cut out with a Spellbinders Labels Fourteen die.  The honey and bee were also stamped onto ivory with Memento Tuxedo Black and then coloured with the Beehive Copics Collection and trimmed out.  The bees wings also have a little shimmery pen added to them too.

The papers are older MME - Sunshine.  Which is a pack I have loved and have used almost every bit of!  I inked the honeycomb background onto the patterned paper with Memento Canteloupe ink.

As you can see I also used my copics to color the checked ribbon and the longer part of the sentiment.  It pulls together everything so well.

This card is going to go to one of our youngest son's teachers, she's undergoing cancer treatment and not teaching, and I know it's been a long and lonely process for her.  She's so precious to us too, and our son's favourite color is yellow - so it's a good match.
