Trimmed with Love

Oh so excited to be welcoming you to our first day of FIVE days of New Release Peeks for Flourishes.  One wonderful surprise for you is that we're releaseing our Christmas sets earlier than we usually do!  You're going to see some spectacular sets in the next months to get you ready for all your Christmas cards, packages, and gift giving.  And...even better news with all these new sets coming out we'll have cut files available for the Silhouette, and .svg files available Friday as well.

Do you love to decorate your tree each Christmas?  Our kids love when the decorations come out and then stories are told about the ornaments.  Each of  the little picture ornaments are pondered over from when they were adorably little, and all of it lovingly goes up on the tree.  Today's set Trimmed With Love celebrates the beauty of a Christmas tree decorated with love.

How about some Vintage/Victorian style with this pretty set?  I stamped the tree with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Flourishes Classic Ivory Cardstock, and then coloured with Copic Markers.  I distressed the card (dp and main image) with some Ranger Distress in Spun Sugar, blending it with the Ink Blending Tool.   I've accented the design with some pretty Color Made Easy seam binding in a bow as well as adding some cream string loop trim.  Then of course, you can't go for a Vintage design without some gorgeous pink Scalloped Lace too.

Do you see how I added a few ornaments to the tree?   I placed some pretty Kaiser pearls on the tree to tie it all together.  Here are the Copic Collections I used...

Hey Christine, what a camp experience you had...unforgettable~we're so thrilled for your trained and training sessions. Camp is the best summer experience which lasts all year through. Thank you for sharing pics and comments.
Did you ever put some coloring smarts into Flourishes' Christmas evergreen to shine on! That Victorian setting simply makes the gentle people look mature a notch or two! Thanks for your extra time to set up Copic colors under the image.
Fire whistle just went off here, again, we have burnt over ten per cent of the state's burned acres in this county since June 26! This fire is north of the highway from the 40K Acre fire two weeks ago. Lightning!6:30 this morning!
