A Slammin' Dude Birthday

Oh to be 8 again hmmm?  Our eight-year-old has a birthday party to go to today of one of his school friends turning 8.  They are at such a fun age.  When our youngest was in Kindergarten there were a whole BUNCH of fun boys in his class, and though some have moved away and some are in different classes, many of them will be reunited at this party.  I can only imagine the scene for this poor mom! :)  They're all very active and very talkative.  Needless to say - my guy is really looking forward to it!

Here's the little Dude's Birthday card.

Not too mature is it?  I know it's got all that Justin Bieber pre-teen angst to it - but I thought it would still be cute even for an eight-year-old.  This friend has rich red hair so I tried to capture that too.  The stamp is called Justin from Taylored Expressions, another one I picked up at CHA this summer.  He's colored with Copics and it's all part of the Mojo Sketch for the week.  

Now to get that zig zaggy border over on the right I used the Pinked Hearts punch from SU, and then just tucked it further under so it looks like zig zags not hearts.  I mimicked that with the Pinked Circle Spellbinders die around the sentiment too.
