A Window at the Yacht Club

As you've probably seen Flourishes has another brand new Kit just unveiled last week called Yacht Club...wow is it GORGEOUS.  The papers in it are so fantastic.  As I was flipping through the papers I couldn't believe how many sheets were just perfect for so many FLLC sets!  Plus there are gorgeous accents in the kit too.

When I saw one of sheets I thought right away about how beautifully it would go with Flourishes Windows to the World set.

Doesn't the paper look perfect for a little dutch window?  I love it!  Earlier this spring I saw a gorgeous card by Makiko Jones on our Friends of Flourishes Blog Team.  She used this set and made it with some fabulous dimension...so she was totally the inspiration for this card.  I've colored three sets of the image with Copic Markers and then added the shutters on one level of dimensionals, and the flower box on 2 levels of dimensionals.  It has a great effect in real life.

Along the bottom of the card I added a border of Lattice Borderabilities, and then added the sentiment with one of the pretty butterfly pins from the kit.

Here's a picture of the layers of dimension, and the ruffled ribbon on top and the ravelled ribbon along the bottom.

Be sure to check out the talented Dawn who has a lovely creation with the Yacht Club kit, and Julie who has a gorgeous post with cards for both kits available now....Venice and Yacht Club :)
