Romantic Flowers

Hello Friends.  How are you this evening?  Lots going on here, I'm feeling a little bit in over my head right now :(  Too much on the to-do list and not enough time to-do it!   And I've been very remiss in coming by to say hi to some of you and see what you've been up to creatively....but I really hope that when some of the to-do's are done...you'll see me around!

This week's There She Goes Challenge is from our Trendsetter of the week Tammy and it's about some 3D Flower Fun...there are so many fun 3D flower creations out there of many different styles and materials...I decided to make one of my own with my little rolled flower template.  A family we know from Church hosted our Youth Ministry Team meeting yesterday and fed us a wonderful meal...so this will be for them.

This card is all about the texture.  From the fuzzy felt rolled flower, to the embossing folder, to the ruffled ribbon, butterfly and the round gems.  Really its an easy card, but all the texture and shape really carry it.   I like the splash of red with all that cream.   My first little tulips bloomed yesterday...they are red too, so I'm in the red flower mood.

This set is from our very own Julie Lacey....who has gorgeous handwriting and it's called Sentimental.  We hope you can join us in the challenge...winners can win TSG Store Gift Certificates, which is always fun!

Off for more on the to-do list.  Today is election day in Canada, and my husband is working the election, he's been gone since 5:30 this morning and it's just me and the kiddos till all the ballots are counted tonight.   Hope this finds you well :)

Think our To Do lists have been chatting! Life has been waaaay too busy and will carry over to the w/e as hubby and I cook for the youth retreat at the church. It's a ton of work cooking for 150+ Friday and Saturday, but oh so rewarding. Think my Mother's Day will be spent on the couch reading LOL!

Great use of that lovely EF and the touches of bling and rolled flower are fabulous :)

Gotta run - need an update on the election results :)
