Go Retro Wednesday!

How about a little Retro today???  As you probably know, Flourishes is having a Retirement Sale on numerous sets...65% off their regular price, and when they're gone  - they're gone forever, so on Wednesdays in May we'll be showing off some of our past creations with these great retiring sets.

The set I'm going to show you today is actually one of my favourites!  I feel a little sad it's going :(  It was one of the first sets I was published with too, so it will always have a special place in my heart.  It's called Swing Set, and it is selling for $5.59.  A steal of a deal!

This card above was one my first times playing around with Prismacolors, if I were doing it now, I'd blend it a little differently, but I love this cards vibrancy and the feeling of spring!  And that sweet little girl there too!  She's so cute!

And on this card I did some pointillism with Copics to create the feeling of an autumn tree....I love how it turned out and the contrast between the deep rusts and orange and the soft blue.  If you click on the picture you can see more of the definition as it will pop up larger.

Fun to look back at some of the oldies but goodies!  Hope you've had fun going retro with me!  Thanks for dropping by.

Now you'll want to head to my friend Julie's Blog  and my friend Leslie's Blog to see what Retro Fun they've cooked up!

Two lovely cards. The effect from the pointillism is really neat on the second, really brings out the detail. Your coloring is always fabulous. Blessings.

fantastic coloring. Love the pointillism one but then fall colors are my favorite.

These are two of my all time faves using this set Ms. Christine. I just LOVE the bold colors and how vivid and full of life they both are!

Wonderful and sweet Christine. I like the fall feeling of the second card. The first has such a fresh and vibrant feel to it.
