Wonderful

OOO ignore the post title for just a minute....I'm so mad the Red Team sent Arthur home on the Biggest Loser!!! ARG!    I so hope he wins the at home prize!

OK....back to the post.

Lots happening here....our little nephew is HOME from the hospital which I'm so grateful for.  Our daughter is in the search for a High School and it's Open House Central here.  It's really a big decision!  So many elements to consider to find the right fit for her.  We've found 3 really good schools that are in the running so far.  We need to decide by early next month :)  I'll have a High Schooler soon!

And I had a little time to create tonight and was delighted to be able to play in the SCS Sketch Challenge.

I love the simple clean lines of this pretty SU Set - Every Moment!  It was great for this clean design in the sketch.  I colored the bird and bull-rushes with Copics and added some simple sewing and accents.    Do you see the tiny sentiment tab on the top?  It reads wonderful - from the sentiment.... I didn't want to distract from the design.

Papers are old SU, Parisian Breeze, which has such pretty texture.

Does my blog feel a little naked to you?  Me too.  I was messing around with some things in the design today and was so proud of myself because I figured out something that's been bugging me in the HTML code, but in the process messed up my sidebars!  Hopefully I can figure out how to get it back!  LOL!

Have a wonderful Wednesday ahead!

Stamps: SU - Every Moment;  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black;  Paper:  Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Flourishes Classic White, SU - Parisian Breeze DSP;  Accessories:  Copic Markers, Circle Punches, Kraft Seam Binding, Twine, Corduroy Brad.  Dimensionals, Sewing Machine.

I'm with you re: Arthur! Had tears streaming down my face when he told Bob and Jillian he tried his best but ran out of gas. Nice to see Jillian shed a tear. I'm pulling for the at home prize as well :)

Hear you re: high schools too. The one we feed into is waaaay over crowded (also happens to be one of the ones I went to the second year it was open...I"m aging too quickly LOL!). Going to an alternate bell schedule to accommodate all the kids. Lots to learn. I too am having a hard time believing my "little girl" LOL is going to be in high school net year!

Your card is lovely! Great colouring and use of the sketch!

So glad to hear that your nephew is coming home and therefore must be doing well. So now you must be onto the birth announcement cards. How fun!
Lovely card today!

With you on Arthur - hoping one by one they have to go also. That said as usual a beautiful card...your coloring is always so stunning and your details always make the card. TFS have a great day.

I so agree with you about Arthur.
You find out who really cares about you in times like these. I just hope that Arthur will continue to care about himself enough to lose the weight. As for the others on the team, I hope they will lose their weight but I hope someone on the black team is the ultimate winner. It would serve the red team right.

that is terrific about your nephew and how neat that your daughter can pick which school to attend.
Your card is fabulous, love the coloring, neat design and the way you have the butterfly in it's own circle, really like that!

Beautiful and awesome job with the sketch. I can't say I am wathing this year but I do like Jillian a lot when we did watch. Highschools are tough I will honestly be praying for the right one to be in your path.

Oh I love your take on the sketch! I really really wanted to get to this one but didn't make it today. Gorgeous coloring! I have been messing with my blog too.... don't know how to help you get your side bars back though. The new templates have them easy but have other things I don't like so I went back to the older one. Wish I could help!
