Colors of Love

Welcome to another Flourishes Pre-Release Challenge!  This month it's all about the colors of love :)  So your challenge is to create something with the colors red, pink and white.  And if you do, you can link it to the Flourishes Blog and be eligible to win the entire February release!   If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCJAN11. You have until January 14th at 5 PM Eastern to enter! Use Flourishes stamps if you have them, but if you don't, please play along anyway! Sneak Peeks of the new sets begin next Wednesday!

I think that tulips are one of the most beautiful flowers, and in fact I think a bouquet of tulips is really lovely and romantic,  now there's nothing like roses, but tulips are a very close second to me.  So I pulled out one of my all time favourite Flourishes sets, Thank You, which includes these gorgeous ruffled or parrot tulips.  I watercolored them with my NEW Derwent watercolor pencils that I received at Christmas, which I'm really enjoying.

I've cut them out of the box before using the oval nesties shape and then used this fun glittery Valentine's paper from SU! from last year.  At the time I HAD to have it, and yet this is the first time I've cracked it open.  Lots of the sheets are full of glittered designs and are really pretty.  The ruched/fluted ribbon is old SU as well.

Come and see what the Design Team has to inspire you with Red, Pink and White this month!
