Dollar Find Friday - Card Clothespins

Today on the TSG Blog I have a fun find from the Dollar Store....it's a very cute Card Clothespin String that I repurposed to become something really so much cuter :)

We always have a string of Christmas Cards up in our house, but the string doesn't always work for hanging vertical cards, or Christmas pictures....now I have something perfect! Take a look as it hangs over our bay window....  (you can click on these pictures to make them larger...I know with trying to show the length of the string it makes the details harder to see).

Here it is with some cards on it...

Here is what I started with from the Dollar Store

Cute but not quite cute enough....and it definitely doesn't go with my color scheme.

Here is what they look like close up, and colored up

Each panel style is done twice, and I added a chocolate snowflake panel on each end.    It's just so cute in all it's wintery fun!   All the coloring is done with Copic Markers, and then I added some fun Polar White Flower Soft on each panel to give it that snowy wonderful feeling.  And do you see the adorable little jingle bells on each panel?!  EEE!  Love them.  Also from the Dollar Store.

I have a tutorial on the TSG Blog how it put it all together so I invite you to jump on over there.  It's a great Dollar Store Find!

Recipe:  Stamps:  There She Goes - Snowy Days;  Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Craft White;  Paper: Flourishes Classic Ivory, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Labels One Nestabilities, Copic Markers, Scor Tape, Bakers Twine, Jingle Bells, Mini Clothespin Card Holder, Mono Multi Glue, Polar White Flower Soft.

How absolutely fabulous, Christine! I love how you dressed up that DS find. The jingle bells are fantastic, as are your beautifully colored designs. Great solution for displaying cards of both orientation. Good thinking!
