Chilly and Blingy!

This week’s challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Jodi! For this challenge you will need to pull out your BLING! Yep...it’s time to add some sparkle, pop, and pizzazz to your creation! You can use rhinestones, stickles, glitter, brads...just be sure to BLING IT UP!

I've created a chilly and crisp winter scene with this fun new set from There She Goes, Penguin Pals. I just love this little igloo (what many people think we Canadians live in LOL! - but I can assure you we don't :)  )

I colored up the igloo and this little baby penguin in Prismacolors and OMS.  The little bird isn't actually designed as a baby penguin, but I helped him along in that respect by adding the black to the sides of his face with a line from my Copic Multi-liner and gave him webbed feet the same way.

You should also be able to tell I've added a lot of BLING on this one.

Once I had stamped and colored up the igloo I over-stamped the same igloo image in Versamark overtop of the colored one and then embossed it with Iridescent Ice Embossing powder, which gives it a nice shiny glittery look, and then I added glitter to the baby penguin's hat, and a shiny snow pile around his feet.  as well as some of the snow flakes.  Then I added lots of bling with the rhinestones on the snowflakes and the ribbon.

Now how about you join us on this BLING challenge at TSG?  ....To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that showcases your bling, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Dec.13th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

And by participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)  please use the keyword TSG84 so we can check out your beautiful work!
