Super Simple Saturday

Arg!  Ever have one of those days?  3 kids running three different directions, playdate, birthday party, babysitting....Mom runs to pick up the birthday present, get it home...need a card.....look in stash....NO boy cards!  What?  No boy cards???  Grrr.  Need a very quick and simple card for a pre-teen boy.... Birthday Party in 30 minutes!

So this is super simple, CAS.  What I like about it is that I tried the new Crimped Diamond Tutorial from SCS this week, really easy and a neat effect, and I like how the twill for the sentiment also matches the crimped pattern on the card and runs on the diagonal.  But, other than that....Extreme Dirtbike SU set, some sponging and brads and that's that!

Recipe:  Stamps - SU Extreme Dirtbike, Teeny Tiny Wishes;  Ink:  Soft Suede;  Paper:  Soft Suede, Confetti Cream;  Accessories:  Big Shot, Oval Nestabilities, Sponge, Twill Ribbon, Antique Brads, Dimensionals.

Christine, this is one fabulous card!!! Such a cool one for a pre teen!!! I bet this was the best card he got ;D. I love this technique.... I saw it the other day in my SCS newsletter, but have not tried it yet. You have given me an idea now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Hugs and blessings, Sabrina

Wow, this is a great card. Boy cards are so hard to make, but this one tops the list of a must do. Thank you.

Awesome card! I love how you added the sentiment on the twill and the brads diagonally to match the diamond pattern!
