Spring Blossoms

Well, it's BLAZIN' hot here today, so the idea of spring blossoms seems a little far-fetched :) But I thought I'd do one last card for the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges with Susan's Challenge today.

This is new Cottage Wall Designer paper from SU! I think it's so pretty a lovely blend of Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Pale Plum.

It's actually a pretty simple card, because the sketch was so easy to follow. I did pop up the little birdhouse, and added sponging around the edges of the main tree image to give it a soft glow.

Alright, we going to try to beat the heat today with some water at the lake!

Recipe: Stamps: Branch Out, Sweet Little Sentiments; Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Old Olive; Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP; Accessories: Sponge, Dimensionals, EE Brads, Felt Fusion Flowers, Razzleberry Ribbon.

I love your take on this layout! That Cottage Wall DSP is my favorite in the new catty and it's quickly becoming my customers' fav also. I really love how you used just part of the tree as your focal point. Very pretty!

I love how you added blossoms on the birthday card made with "forest of trees", the lace is a wonderful accent. I have just been introduced to your blog and I have saved in my favorites to visit often!
