A Last Heartfelt Hurrah

I'm back with another Last Hurrah with a Last Chance set for you tonight. I think Heartfelt Thanks is one of the most classic SU sets out there. It was probably one of the first two step stamping sets I ever used. Tonight the Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS) over at Splitcoast is to use Kraft, Pink/Coral shades and one other color in a Clean and Simple Design. I knew it would be perfect for Heartfelt Thanks.

I'm not a traditional CAS girl. But sometimes it works, I'm hoping you think this is one of those times!

I really love Kraft as a color, it gives you such a warm palette, and pairs so well with many colors. AND what I most love about Kraft is how white looks on it. Stamped especially!

Here I 2-Step stamped the flowers on the white, added an additional flower popped up and also stamped the bloom on the Kraft layer in VersaMark and in White Craft.

The focal layer has a simple row of patterned paper and pretty ribbon. Because the other side of the Kiwi satin ribbon is cream, I twisted it a bit in the knot so only the Kiwi side would show and not clash vanilla against the crisp white. A simple sentiment flag and a corduroy brad sets it off just nicely!

Thanks for popping over!

Recipe: Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks, Hugs and Wishes; Ink: Cameo Coral, Kiwi Kiss, VersaMark, White Craft; Paper: Kraft, Whisper White, Raspberry Tart DSP; Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Corduroy Brads Kiwi, Kiwi Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals

This is really very gorgeous....I like how the top note die is cut on the side and the DSP on half and of course the white on kraft stamping is wonderful! Nice work!

This is beautiful, Christine! Love the simple layout but it's certainly not a simple card. Love your colours, love the sentiment with that brad. Fabulous!

I love how you put the top note off to the side. I have a hard time thinking outside the box and always end up centering it. Love the popped up flag and raspberry tart!

Oh, this is one of those times, Christine! What a gorgeous card! I have loved this set well in the past and hope to continue using it now and then. I always feel a little tug at my heartstrings when a favorite stamp retires...sob. Soon to be gone, but not forgotten.
