A Sweet Release

Well it was a fun week with all the new releases at Flourishes...I just made it into the Release Party at the tail end, because I was so busy holding my 10 day old niece...oooh she's just sweetness bundled. I totally hogged her tonight, my boys just kept looking at me and saying, "MOMmmm when can I hold her???" hee hee :)

Well, I have a few more beauties to show you of the Sweet Pea set as well as the sets themselves. The store is open now! Be sure to check out the new Jenni Bowlin papers too...I think I might need every one of them! Because the are 4 x 4 inch sizes Flourishes will also be selling 4.25 x 4.25 envelopes in cream and white for these style of cards which is fabulous because these envelopes are SO hard to find!

Alright....

Here is a set I made for the Sweet Pea using Basic Grey Euphoria papers....all have similar elements and shapes, just laid out in different ways.

I wanted to show off some sweet peas of different colors, so I used the smaller bloom from the set and colored with copics. I used the little *tendril* stamp on my backgrounds, the pretty Basic Grey brads to match the papers and gorgeous Flourishes satin ribbon, with a little piercing on each.

Makes for a pretty set!

This next card was used by my Mom with a present for her new Grandaughter (yes that sweet niece again! )...the pinks are so suiting for a new baby girl don't you think?

This card actually began as a disaster. I had the whole image cut out so beautifully with my Nestie...colored it in painstakingly with my copics and then I must have had ink on my hand and I smudged part of it!!!! UGH. So, I decided to punch that colored piece into a large oval, recolor a larger piece and then put them together as a spotlight/highlight...then I added a layer of cardstock vellum overtop and the sentiment and it gave it a pretty effect.

I used a lot of scalloped edges along the bottom and lots of ribbon to make it very frilly and girly.

And here are the pictures of all three newly released stamp sets:

LOVELY! And, if you make a purchase at Flourishes, and I've inspired you, if you remember to add my name and initial christine0 at checkout in the promo code box I'd appreciate it!
Have a lovely end to your Friday.
Come back tomorrow...I have a special surprise!

For whatever reason, the 5+ times a week, when I checked your blog, the Sweet Love card would show. I never got the newer posts until today when I clicked on "Christine Creations" in the heading. Eureka!

I love your cards and was willing to wait without giving up hope. I am so glad I can enjoy your cards again. The color combinations you use are my favorite colors. My brain cells do a happy dance when I see your cards. When it is earlier in the day, I am hoping to list the markers/card stock colors you used on cards.

I don't know how Flourishes keep creating great stamp set. The flower is gorgeous. The swirls would be hard for me to use but your card makes it look easy.

I also saw some SU stamps that I like because of your cards.

I look forward to seeing more of your cards.
Thank you.

Christine, I've been on vacation with the family since March 13, I have a lot of comments to catch up on. These cards are so beautiful, I especially love the one with the vellum sentiment and rhinestones, it's so soft and pretty!
