Will It Be A Boy???

I'm starting to work on some designs for my brother and sister-in-law. I told them I'd really like to do their baby announcements for them. They know what they are having....but they won't tell me! Even though I hinted that it would be nice to know...ya know just to get started early on these.....

Anyway, here's a first idea

Simple design - suited for making multiple copies...I stamped the boat 3 x in the 3 colors (also Tuesday's Color Challenge colors) and trimmed out and popped up. This is Jersey Shore DP (I think?) on the right and bottom strip. The brilliant blue piece is stamped with the larger star in Brilliant Blue, and then the smaller stars in White Craft, with some cut out and popped up.

I added a button on the little star on the sentiment (gasp) it's so unlike me. I'm just not a button person. But then I added brads, and I felt better :) Stay tuned for more of these in the next month or so...the countdown is on...she's in her last tri-mester!

Recipe: Stamps: Nursery Necessities; Ink: Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Craft White; Paper: Whisper White, Jersey Shore DSP, Brilliant Blue, Garden Green; Accessories: Dimensionals, Circle Punches, BB Buttons, White Grossgrain, BB Brads.
